For the first five years of my professional career, I worked as a product designer focusing on soft goods for the outdoor industry. Working with Carry Gear Solutions gave me many opportunities to try my hand at different segments of the design process. Over the next two years, I found myself moving into a new role in Creative Direction. It was a natural blend of my passions for design through both physical and visual means. Using my skills as a designer, my eye as a photographer, and my understanding of the process, along with my team, we brought ideas, brands and stories to life.
Now I have begun a new chapter as I pursue my Master’s Degree in Sports Product Design from the University of Oregon. With the training I receive here, I hope to further my knowledge in design and manufacturing to provide more sustainable and innovative solutions to the market.
When not studying at the White Stag building in downtown Portland, you can find me in the mountains, on a lake, or hitting the pavement enjoying all opportunities the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Home for me is split between the great Northwest and an airport near you. I love to travel. Going to new destinations, getting lost, and making new friends around the world, brings me incredible amounts of joy. Through work trips, family vacations, and solo excursions, I have been fortunate to see a great deal of this amazing planet and there is much more left to see. Come with me on my next adventure.
